Melt slightly in your hands and massage sparingly and gently into your pet's coat.

We only ship butters at temperatures below 25°C, with an estimated shipping time of 3 business days. Orders containing butters will therefore be held at higher temperatures. If you need other products from your order more quickly, please order them separately.

The butter is sufficient for 5-20 applications, depending on the size and coat structure of the animal.

If you use too much fat, your pet's coat may become a bit stringy, but this effect will disappear after a few days.

Store in a cool, dark place; in hot temperatures, it can also be stored in the refrigerator.

For very sensitive dogs, epileptics, those with severe allergies, and certain very sensitive breeds, we recommend starting with the "Rumtreiber" fur butter without essential oils. You are also welcome to contact us for individual advice.

Wie wirksam sind natürliche Zeckenschutzprodukte für Hunde?

Einen 100%igen Schutz gibt es nicht. Nicht von Medikamenten vom Tierarzt, nicht von "natürlichem Zeckenschutz ohne Chemie" und schon gar nicht vom nichts tun, weil "mein Hund bekommt keine Zecken".

Jedes Mittel hat seine Daseinsberechtigung und oft macht es auch Sinn Produkte zu kombinieren.

Die sogenannten "natürlichen Zeckenschutzprodukte" arbeiten oft über verschiedene pflanzliche Öle und ätherische Öle, die für ihre Zeckenvertreibende Wirkung bekannt sind. Das funktioniert für manche Hunde und Gegenden ganz hervorragend und für manche reicht es nicht aus.
Ist Teebaumöl giftig für Hunde?

Ja, pur oral aufgenommen führen wenige Tropfen (ca. 0,5-1ml) reines ätherisches Teebaumöl zu Vergifungserscheinungen, gleiches gilt übrigens für den Menschen. Deshalb ist das Öl ja auch ein beliebtes Zeckenmittel.

Aber wie bei allem macht die Dosis das Gift: In einer Fellbutter sind ca. 0,01ml Teebaumöl enthalten. Das macht pro Anwendung ca. 2µl Teebaumöl.

Diese Menge ist für Hunde bedenkenlos verstoffwechselbar, steigert aber die Wirkung des Sprays in Synergie mit den anderen enthaltenen Wirkstoffen expondentiell.
Wie wende ich Zeckenschutzmittel für Hunde richtig an?

Die Fellbutter Spazierschutz schmilzt du in den Händen an und massierst sie dann großflächig in allen Körperregionen ins Fell ein.

Für gewöhnlich reicht eine Anwendung alle paar Tage, je nach Felllänge. Die Butter wirkt so lange, wie du ihren Duft wahrnehmen kannst.
